South Tyrol is not classified as a risk area and therefore there is no travel warning for South Tyrol. For this reason, people who travel to South Tyrol and then return to Germany do not have to comply with quarantine obligations and are not obliged to undergo a Covid-19 test. Simply passing through a risk area, such as the province of Tyrol, without having been there does not oblige them to do so either.

 

Here, at 1,500m above sea level, we have the best conditions, plenty of open space, plenty of fresh air and no crowds of people.

In culinary terms too, the Tann is at the top of its game. Head chef, Barbara, is passionately devoted to that which holds body and soul together. Her menu indulges you with the delicious diversity of South Tyrolean food. Down-to-earth treats, old recipes from grandmother’s cookbook, masterly creations of Mediterranean cuisine, tempting desserts - every day is a feast for connoisseurs.

Tempting by nature: the pleasures of the table

There is just one word to describe dining at the Tann: heavenly! An indulgence for the eyes and especially for the taste buds. The secret: fresh ingredients every day from our own vegetable and herb garden, milk and eggs from the farm next door and locally-reared meat - regional tastes irresistible. Completely in line with the philosophy of our head chef, Barbara, who is a member of Slow Food Italy.
