With open arms
A surprisingly relaxed reception. Hosts deeply rooted in their homeland and wonderfully down-to-earth. A feel-good atmosphere that is repeated over and over. And yes, it’s true. It’s surprisingly easy to relax when you’re confronted with a joy of living and heartfelt warmth.

YOUR HOSTS AT THE HOTEL TANN IN KLOBENSTEIN, RITTEN
In harmony with nature: The Tann team
The nature surrounding the Hotel Tann fills us with inspiration every day. The forest, the mountain peaks on the horizon, the special atmosphere of light, endless expanse, pure, refreshing mountain air. It is also nature that writes the script for the holiday atmosphere here at the Tann. Setting the rhythm and ensuring new surprises and highlights over and over. We are only too happy to play along and bring as much of the outdoors into the Tann as possible. Through our forest cuisine, the hotel furnishings, our own cosmetics line, the special wellness treatments and rituals – and yes, also with every personal hiking tip or unexpected token of appreciation. We want our guests to experience the power of nature and the natural world. Wholly mindful and gentle, individual – from person to person. This is our way of being a host.

Master of flavours and natural cuisine
Sizzling and a fragrant aroma, steam and smoke, ringing laughter – that’s when we know Barbara is nearby! Full of good cheer and creative energy, deep-rooted as good as her favourite tree, the spruce –Barbara is the host at the Hotel Tann. An enthusiastic representative of the Slow Food movement, Barbara personally looks after the physical well-being of her guests. Surprising with sophisticated creations from forest cuisine and the rich treasure of ingredients Mother Nature has to offer within easy reach.

A cool head and a warm handshake
Being a host is in Markus Untermarzoner’s blood. With a cool head and an unerring sense of a guest’s needs, he makes sure that everything at the Hotel Tann runs smoothly. A keen hunter and nature lover, he knows all the hiking trails and special power sites on the Ritten and is always happy to offer insider tips or tour suggestions. And then there are the treasures in the cellar! Markus has a trained palate, which helps him select the appropriate wine to go with each of Barbara’s culinary creations from the forest kitchen.
