A South Tyrolean picture book
All around the Tann lives the forest - and tradition. The idyllic little resting spot, the welcoming alpine chalet, the spiritual place of contemplation - pilgrimage stations of pristine nature, good for the soul.

THE OUTDOOR AREA AT THE FOUR-STAR HOTEL ON THE RITTEN
It can’t ever hurt - a touch of spiritual contemplation
In South Tyrol this form of appreciation is not uncommon, but for a hotel it is extremely unusual. The picturesque little wooden chapel at the Tann was built in 2010, consecrated by Father Benedikt and dedicated to every guardian angel. It was built in thanks for our good lives and the special place in which we are permitted to dwell, as well as in memory of our beloved mother, Helga Silbernagl Plunger.

Open Air on the mountain: our panoramic terrace
Our natural cinema at 1500 metres above sea level shows a top-class programme. Take a seat on our panoramic terrace and enjoy the charming play of light on the summits of the Dolomites. It is exciting right to the very end and runs 365 days a year. Added to this is the fresh scent of the meadows and the balmy summer air - a festival for the senses. Even a 4DX cinema does not compare with it.

For peaceful togetherness: islands in the forest
Still looking for a favourite place? There is no shortage of them here. Go on a journey of discovery in our forest park and capture your own little island for two. Everywhere you’ll find little benches and niches, and a lovingly tended pond will delight you from May until late into the autumn. And the original forest library with the Tann weather station is also not to be missed.
