The winter forest tour: Tann-Pemmern-Rosswagen-Schön-Pemmern-Tann
This charming 2.5 hour tour comes high up the popularity scale with nature lovers and non-skiers. On the Rosswagen you can put on your snowshoes and off you go! At a leisurely pace you can reach areas that you otherwise would never have got to know. Silent spruce forests covered in deep snow, pristine nature. Easy going: Tann-Pemmern-Rittner Horn-Pemmern-Tann
The starting point for this easy snowshoe walk is the mountain station of the Rittner Horn mountain railway - Schwarzseespitze. The lovely panoramic circular trail no. 19 begins here and runs as far as the Unterhornhaus. From there with snowshoes you can enjoy a wonderful circular tramp over the snow-covered Rittner Alm. Other individual snowshoe routes are available from the Tann.
