Sun-kissed winter days. The Rittner Horn offers pure fascination for winter hikers. The panoramic trails lead first of all through glittering natural surroundings, and afterwards into the warmth. There are a number of places to stop for a snack and a drink along the way offering hearty South Tyrolean treats.

Excellent: the Premium Panorama Tour
Italy’s first winter premium trail starts directly alongside the Tann. From the mountain station on the Schwarzseespitze it continues high up to the Rittner Horn. The panoramic views of the Dolomites are fabulous and the white splendour offers tranquil enjoyment. At your destination, rustic chalets await with the tempting treats of South Tyrolean cuisine. A 3 hour-long route that even families with children can manage easily!
Away you go: the Loden circuit
Our winter hiking tip for everyone that would like to experience the magic of the snowy forests in total serenity. This prepared trail also starts at the Tann and passes along forest track no. 27 to the Loden. From there turn left along the forest track to the Saltner Hut (no refreshments available). Return to the hotel via the same route. Duration: 2.5 hours
