Cross-country skiing in South Tyrol

Cross-country skiers are very lucky when they stay at Hotel**** Tann

As just 50 m from the hotel there is a 1.5 km long practice course. 800 m farther on, at the “Rittnerhorn” there is a 30 km long mountain course, which goes over the Rittner Alm (mountain pasture) to Barbian and Villanders. Winter on the Ritten is an insider tip for everyone who wants to enjoy his/her winter holidays away from loud and overcrowded tourist stopovers.

Cross-country boots and skis can be hired at the “Skiverleih Rittnerhorn”.
